Corporate chauffeur

Corporate chauffeur service in Manchester for every business journey

A corporate chauffeur service built around the people who arrange the travel: your brief goes in writing, so your chauffeur arrives when you were told to expect them.

  • Booker and passenger kept separate on every booking
  • Chauffeur and car details sent before travel
  • VAT receipts and invoices for business bookings
  • An NDA signed where your account needs one
Executive travel for businesses

Corporate travel Manchester teams can hand over

Whether you need a corporate chauffeur for one director or an executive chauffeur for a whole programme, the details must be taken care of. MCH works with executive assistants, PAs, travel managers and production teams on the executive travel Manchester businesses depend on, and then plans the car, the timings and the collections around your brief. Its team has more than ten years in executive transportation, including fight-week programmes at Co-op Live and AO Arena.

Because plans change, MCH keeps the booker informed and explains any effect on the booking before it reaches your passenger. MCH covers Manchester, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Liverpool day to day, and its chauffeurs travel anywhere in the UK, so a corporate car service Manchester offices rely on can also reach London or Leeds.

What businesses book

Executive chauffeur hire for every business journey

Start with the corporate travel job you need done, and then MCH shapes the business chauffeur service around it.

  1. Airport transfers

Offices, hotels and homes to Manchester and the UK airports, so the journey starts without a car park.

    Plan staff airport runs
  2. Client meetings and hospitality

Hotels, offices and appointments for visiting directors, clients and colleagues, so guests are taken straight to their appointment.

    Meet the executive cars
  3. Multi-stop days and as-directed hire

One chauffeur and car for agreed hours, so several meetings fit into one day.

    Keep one car all day
  4. Corporate roadshows and conferences

Delegate arrivals, roadshow stops, venue movements and departures, including financial roadshows, so one plan covers the day.

    Plan a multi-car programme
  5. Film, TV and production travel

Crew and director movements, after we check the passengers and equipment first.

    Brief us on your production
  6. Long distance journeys

Manchester to London, Birmingham, Leeds and beyond, door to door, so nobody changes vehicle.

Travel door to door by road

Multi-stop days, roadshows and conference transport

When a day includes several meetings, waiting time or changing plans, one corporate chauffeur booking for agreed hours keeps the chauffeur and car with you, so your passenger stays in the same vehicle. For conferences and hosted guests, an airport collection, hotel transfer, venue movement and evening return can form one programme of executive travel, including financial roadshows with several stops in a day.

How a corporate chauffeur booking works

A corporate car service should not leave you chasing a transport booking, because MCH tells you what it has arranged.

  1. 1

    Send the brief

Tell us where, when and who is travelling, with the booker and passenger details, the invoice address and the flight number if there is one, so we can quote accurately.

  2. 2

    Receive a written quote

MCH recommends the arrangement, and then puts the service and the price in writing.

  3. 3

    Accept and confirm

Once you accept, MCH issues provisional booking information and payment details.

  4. 4

    Meet your chauffeur

Your passenger receives meeting instructions, plus the chauffeur and car details before travel.

For assistants and travel managers

Corporate car service: an account, or a booking without one?

Someone other than the passenger usually makes the booking, so MCH built the process around that.

Mercedes-Benz fleet

Executive car service in Manchester: the right Mercedes for the brief

Passenger numbers, luggage and the purpose of the journey decide the right car for any executive car service Manchester businesses book, so MCH confirms suitability and availability against your full brief, and your executive chauffeur arrives in the car that fits it.

The standard allowance is one case and one carry-on per passenger. Please tell us about oversized luggage, sports equipment, pushchairs or child seats when you book, so for larger loads MCH recommends the V-Class.

Programmes with more than six passengers

Minibuses and coaches run through licensed partner operators, but MCH stays your single point of contact. To compare every size, see our minibus hire in Manchester and coach hire in Manchester pages.

Corporate chauffeur hire in practice

Three examples of how a business day runs

These examples show how MCH plans the car, the timings and the price, so you can compare one early flight, a full day of meetings and a week-long event.

Example 1: airport run

Manchester to Heathrow

A director with an early flight travels one way in an E-Class, so the day starts without stress.

  1. 04:30Collection from home or the office
  2. 04:30 to 08:15Straight run down the M6 and M40, about 3 hours 45 minutes in normal traffic
  3. About 08:15Drop at the terminal, with luggage help

£465 guide price, one way, E-Class, plus VAT, while the return journey is quoted separately.

Check airport transfer prices
Example 2: full-day hire

Client meetings for a visiting executive

One chauffeur and one V-Class stay for the whole day, so the executive stays in the same vehicle.

  1. 08:30Collection from the hotel
  2. 09:30Meeting in Trafford Park
  3. 12:30Lunch in the city centre
  4. 15:00Meeting in Alderley Edge
  5. 18:30Drop at Piccadilly

£520 guide price, plus VAT: 8 hours at £65 an hour in a V-Class, including up to 160 miles. Extra mileage and any parking not known in advance are charged on top, so please ask for the rate.

Check the hourly rates
Example 3: multi-day event

A boxing promotion in fight week

Because MCH knows how the week runs, it plans from the first arrival to the last departure.

  1. ArrivalsFighters, coaches and promoters collected from airports and stations
  2. Medicals and pressShuttles to medicals and the press conference
  3. Weigh-inA timed shuttle between the hotel and the venue
  4. Fight nightThe promoter, fighters, friends and family to the arena, with vehicles on standby, then everyone back
  5. Next dayAirport runs for international guests

Quoted per programme. Schedules move at short notice, so MCH holds a standby vehicle and one point of contact for the whole week. MCH does not name clients, and it signs an NDA as part of a corporate account.

Prices, payment and changes

Corporate chauffeur pricing, payment and cancellation

Terms of serviceCorporate chauffeur bookings

1. Prices and payment

Every booking starts with a written quote, and it gives an all-in price for the journey you describe. Quotes show the price before VAT, with VAT added on top. You save your card securely through Stripe when you request your booking, and MCH usually charges it about 24 hours before your journey, or earlier for multi-day and multi-journey bookings. If payment is needed earlier than 24 hours before your journey, MCH will notify you. Companies without an account receive a pro-forma invoice to pay before travel.

2. What can change the price

Extra stops, route changes, extra mileage, waiting beyond the complimentary time, unplanned parking, tolls and non-airport drop-off fees can all apply, and MCH invoices any extras separately. Hourly hire is designed for multi-stop itineraries that end in the same business district, so city-to-city and long distance journeys are quoted as transfers instead. Corporate bookings can end wherever you need, as long as you tell us in advance.

3. Changes and cancellation

Standard transfers need at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or amend, and peak dates, large events, hourly hire, multi-vehicle bookings and multi-day travel can need longer. Because MCH reserves a chauffeur and vehicle for your journey once payment is taken and the booking is allocated, refunds are not available after that point. Where a booking needs longer notice or earlier payment, MCH will tell you in advance. Chauffeurs never take payment, so everything is settled with MCH in advance.

Questions from bookers

Corporate chauffeur service: your questions answered

What is a corporate chauffeur service?

A corporate chauffeur service, sometimes called corporate chauffeur hire, an executive chauffeur service, a business chauffeur service or a corporate car service, is pre-booked executive transport for business, with a professional chauffeur, a premium car and a written quote. Companies therefore use it for airport transfers, client journeys, roadshows, events and recurring trips, often booked by an assistant or travel manager for someone else.

Who can book business chauffeur hire in Manchester?

Anyone arranging business travel can book, including directors, executive assistants, PAs, travel managers and event organisers, so you can book an executive chauffeur Manchester wide for yourself, a colleague, a client or a whole team.

Can an assistant or travel manager book for someone else, and do you offer corporate accounts?

Absolutely. Give us the booker's details and the passenger's details, with a name, phone number and email address for each, and if they are the same person, just say so. Companies without an account pay by card or pro-forma invoice before travel. Once an account is open and there is an ongoing working relationship, MCH offers terms individually, and account clients use the corporate portal to book, track the chauffeur and the journey, and see invoices and past bookings.

How do I book a corporate chauffeur, and what do you need?

Send MCH the brief: the collection and destination addresses, the date and time, the number of passengers, luggage, and your preferred car. MCH replies with a written quote, and the steps above show what happens next. Airport bookings also need the flight number and the lead passenger's details.

Can you provide several cars for one event or programme?

Yes. MCH plans multiple cars operating at the same time, including separate arrivals and shared transfers, so a team can travel as one booking. For larger groups, see our minibus and coach options.

Are your chauffeurs licensed and DBS-checked?

Yes. Our chauffeurs are licensed and DBS-checked, and MCH sends the chauffeur's details and the car before travel, so your passenger knows who to expect.

How much does a corporate chauffeur cost per hour in Manchester?

In an E-Class, hourly hire starts at £55 an hour plus VAT for 3 to 4 hours and falls to £45 an hour for a full day of 8 to 12 hours. A V-Class runs from £75 down to £65 an hour, and an S-Class from £100 down to £80. Hire starts at three hours and includes 20 miles per booked hour. Hourly hire suits multi-stop itineraries that end in the same business district, while one-way city-to-city journeys are quoted separately, so see our hourly chauffeur hire page for the full rates.

Do you provide corporate airport transfers?

Yes. We take you from your office, hotel or home to Manchester and the UK airports, so the price is fixed in writing. A transfer to Manchester Airport has a guide price of £85 plus VAT in an E-Class, and our airport transfers page shows every airport.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. We sign an NDA on request for a one-off booking, and a corporate account includes one where the account needs it. Also, MCH does not name clients.

How do I pay, and what is the cancellation policy?

You save your card securely through Stripe when you request your booking, and MCH usually charges it about 24 hours before your journey, or earlier for multi-day and multi-journey bookings. If payment is needed earlier, MCH will notify you. Standard transfers need at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or amend, and because MCH reserves a chauffeur and vehicle once payment is taken, refunds are not available after that point, as the terms above explain.
